Stand Up to T- LGL

Cheri Standridge, executive director of the Greater Abbeville Chamber of Commerce has recently been diagnosed with a rare blood immune system disorder called T- LGL. The Abbeville Opera House, Soul Revival, and The Dutch Oven have joined forces and are having a fundraiser on March 7, 2009, to help with Cheri mounting medical bills. The disorder is treatable but could take a long time with the use of medications available. Cheri is on a medical leave from the Chamber of Commerce but she hopes to be able to return to work soon. Cheri has worked as the executive director for 4 1.2 years. Donations can be sent to Palmetto Bank, 100 West Greenwood Street, Abbeville, SC 29620. You may purchase tickets in advance by calling the Opera House 864-366- 2157. There will be a limited number of tickets sold. The Fundraiser is being called ” STAND Up To T- LGL” and Soul Revival’s Concert will begin at 7 pm at the Abbeville Opera House, 100 Court Square. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Hot Dog Supper will begin at 5:30 pm and $5 in advance and $6 dollars at the door.
