Columbia-Richland County Fire Department celebrated its new firetruck with a push-in ceremony Monday, February 10. Richland County Councilwoman Chakisse Newton, other county officials, and firefighters with the Columbia- Richland County Fire Department helped push the new firetruck into the bay at Capitol View Station. Richland County bought the new truck, Engine 30, using $430,866 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
