The new dental office of W. Nettles Green showcases careful landscaping and tree preservation measures helping to keep Forest Acres green.
The Forest Acres Appearance Commission has taken notice of good citizens doing good things preserving green spaces in the city limits. When W. Nettles Green DMD, constructed a new office on Landmark Drive just off Forest Drive in one of the most commercialized parts of the city, there were some beautiful hardwoods on the property. Rather than remove the beautiful trees, Green had special catch basins constructed around the roots to ensure the trees consistently received enough water to not only survive but to flourish. The attractive brick building and the extra care taken in landscaping prove that business and nature can co-exist nicely in an urban environment. Kudos to Dr. Green for helping keep Forest Acres green!
