Columbia’s Women of Bagpiping include longtime Palmetto Pipes and Drums player Elizabeth Fager (c); Heather Pastva (l), recently transferred from the City of Charleston Pipes and Drums; and Eva Julia Cox (r), a newer member who picked up her pipes again after raising three boys. In the world of bagpipes, a breath of fresh air is not only welcomed, it is necessary, and these ladies are bringing it.
