WWII Battle of the Bulge Veteran David Hubbard received The Legion of Honor Award from USAF Chaplain Lt. Col. Brian Bohlman on Veterans Day, November 11, for service to his community and those serving in the military. Over the past year, Hubbard has made hundreds of wooden crosses for soldiers and airmen, as Hubbard describes it, “to bring some peace in these difficult times.” Chaplin Bolhman presented the Four Chaplains Memorial Foundation Legion of Honor award to Hubbard at his home.
