Will Vanadore (r), a member of Scout Troop 397, led by Dan McNair (l) and sponsored by Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church and Lower Richland Ruritan Club, recently earned his Eagle rank. Vanadore is a senior at Dreher High School. He has been inducted into the Order of the Arrow, traveled to Philmont Scout Ranch for a two week backpacking trek, and served as the most recent Senior Patrol Leader for the troop. His Eagle Scout project was converting a shed at Epworth Children’s Home into a shelter for a group of cats that live on the property so the children would have a safe place to interact with them.
