The South Carolina Debutante Ball presented ten daughters, one granddaughter, one niece, and one great- niece Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Forest Lake Club.
The debutante daughters and granddaughter and the members presenting them received guests at a reception prior to the ball. Also receiving guests and seated at the head table were Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Barr, chairman of the board; Mr. and Mrs. Michael Clarke Schraibman, president of the ball; Brigadier General and Mrs. Ronald Scott Lambe, president elect and chairman of the ball; and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Muir Taylor III, president-elect and co-chairman of the ball. The presentation of the debutantes was followed by the debutante figure led by Miss Sarah Grace Schraibman.

The nieces presented were Miss Elizabeth McLanahan Bowie, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Furman Hewitt Jr., escorted by Mr. John Franklin McCabe Jr. and Miss Virginia Dial Kitchens, great-niece of Mr. and Mrs. William Woodward Sullivan III, escorted by Mr. William Shivers Morris V.
The debutantes each carried a hand tied bouquet of open red roses with seasonal greenery accents wrapped in ivory silk ribbon.

Following the presentation and debutante figure, the members, debutantes and guests enjoyed a seated dinner and danced to the music of the Dick Goodwin Band. After dinner, coffee was served in the foyer.
