“The Last Five Years” will be performed March 26–April 17 at Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady Street, opposite the Publix in the Vista. At the beginning we meet Cathy, an actress, as she sings about the end of her relationship with her husband, Jamie. When we meet Jamie, an up–and–coming writer, he sings about his infatuation for the girl he’s just met, Cathy. The show progresses as Cathy moves backward in time, and Jamie moves forward chronicling their five–year relationship. They finally meet on stage during their wedding.
