The Avenues Association’s keys to controlling drainage problems

• Place yard trash in a compost bin (free mulch for you! Info available through the Association)

• Bag yard trash (reusable bags $5 at Cayce City Hall)

• Place all bagged and/or loose debris out of road and path of water

• Flush or bag pet waste (don’t forget pet waste while walking in neighborhood)

• Dispose of yard and household chemicals, paint, oil, etc. at approved sites. (www.lex-co.com/solidwaste or 803-755-3325)

• Maintain drainage channels (paths of water) by keeping them clear of debris, sediment, weeds, etc.

• Join us to clear debris from drainage grates and culverts in our neighborhood! (see contact info)
