State Rep. Joan Brady toured the Syncrude Oil Sands of Alberta Canada in June.
Representative Joan Brady joined Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas and Colorado Lt. Governor Jane Norton as part of a trade group that met with Canadian officials and members of Parliament to discuss US/ Canada trade policy and alternate fuel sources.
Rep. Brady was selected as a member of the delegation having been a recipient of the prestigious Toll Fellowship in 2005. The group was sponsored by the Council of State Governments.
The delegation, also, had the opportunity to meet with US Ambassador David Wilkins of South Carolina.
