St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church was awash with beautiful floral arrangements for its All Saints service Sunday, November 2. The Sanctuary, Bennett Hall, Woods Vestibule, and Remembrance Hall were adorned with 18 arrangements, several of which were created during a training workshop for Flower Guild members November 1.

Kaity Dubien, directress of the guild, invited Benjamin Kyzer, a local floral designer, to demonstrate various arrangement techniques using a variety of flowers and greenery. Kyzer created the stunning arrangements for the altar and serving table in Bennett Hall.

When asked about the workshop, Kaity said, “The members were excited to attend and hear from a professional floral designer. It was amazing to watch the arrangements develop before our eyes.” She continued, “Flowers are such an integral part of our service. They bring beauty and joy to our worshipers and to others who receive them after the service. As guild members, we always want to do our best.”

St. Timothy’s is located at 900 Calhoun Street in the historical Arsenal Hill neighborhood.
