SC Midlands volleyball finishes second







SC Midlands 15 National volleyball team won 12 matches in a row to make it to the AAU National Championship in Orlando, Florida at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports. SC Midlands defeated teams from Florida, Nova Scotia, Canada, Georgia, Indiana, Virginia, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, and California before losing to the Cobb Atlanta team in the finals. SC Midlands includes players from Cardinal Newman, Blythewood, Lugoff-Elgin, and Richland Northeast. Pictured (l-r): back row–Helen Barthe, Kennedy Robinson, Alexa Johnson, Erica Faile, and Team Rep.
