Richland One will hold a series of information sessions for parents interested in enrolling their children in the district’s magnet choice programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
The application period for students to enroll in magnet choice programs for the 2026-2027 school year begins December 8. The application deadline is January 30, 2026.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in either the BLAST (Building Lasting Aerospace and STEM Trajectories), Montessori or middle school career exploration programs are required to attend one information session. For all other magnet choice programs, parents are encouraged to attend an information session, but attendance is voluntary.
The district’s December 4 Magnet Choice Fair will not count as a required parent information session.

In-person open houses will be held December 11 and April 21 at 6 p.m. at Richland One Middle College on Midlands Technical College’s Beltline campus, 316 South Beltline Boulevard.
