Forest Acres

Trenholm Road: A woman went to police headquarters at 7 a.m. Saturday to report a possible threat on her life. The 40-year-old woman told the officers who were taking the report someone had apparently been plotting to “kill” her the previous night. She said she woke up abruptly when she heard “voices coming through the air conditioner unit.” She said she didn’t recognize the voices and she couldn’t have “been dreaming” because she heard the same threat once she was “wide awake.” She said she clearly heard the voice say “I’m going to kill you.” She told the officers she had not been in any sort of argument or altercation with anyone and has “no idea” why anyone would want to harm her. She stressed that she had no mental health issues and said she just wanted the incident documented.

Forest Drive: A woman called police at 1:30 p.m. Friday to report a man had threatened her with a gun. The 21-year-old told the officers she and the man exchanged “looks” at a stop light on Forest Drive and then the man suddenly “changed lanes” and began to follow her. She said as they drove along the road, the man pulled up beside her and pointed a “handgun” at her and “pretended to fire it.” She said he pulled the weapon on her three times before pulling ahead of her and speeding off. She was able to give the police a description of the man and his vehicle and a partial plate number. Officers will be checking the footage from surveillance cameras in the vicinity to try to identify the man. The woman said she will prosecute if the man is found.
