PAWMETTO LIFELINE HOLDING “PURRIS 2024 MEOWLYMPICS” ADOPTION EVENT

Pawmetto Lifeline is at full capacity and will hold a special “PURRIS 2024 MEOWLYMPICS” adoption event to help relieve the crisis-level number of homeless felines.

Every single kennel in Pawmetto Lifeline’s facility is full, with more cats and kittens waiting to come in. The animal rescue organization cannot save any more lives until they find homes for more animals.

The Meowlympians are ready to compete for your heart and take home the gold to a fur-ever family! For two days, Friday, June 7 to Saturday, June 8, you can adopt a cat or kitten for $50 or 2 for $75. All adoption fees include an exam by a SC-Licensed Veterinarian, neuter/spay surgery, deworming, microchip with free registration, and age-appropriate vaccinations.

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The last meet-and-greet is at 5:30 p.m. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina. It is recommended to complete an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org to reduce wait times.

“Pawmetto Lifeline is a managed intake facility that gives every homeless pet in our facility and foster care program the medical care they need, and we keep them safe until they find their forever family. We don’t want to turn away homeless pets. Our goal this weekend is to adopt 100 cats and kittens, so we can continue to partner with the community and take more homeless felines into our adoption program,” says Denise Wilkinson, Pawmetto Lifeline CEO. “We need the public to assist us by adopting this weekend. Adopt one, save two is our motto. By adopting one, you create space for another homeless pet. Becoming a no-kill community is truly a partnership with citizens of the Midlands and rescue organizations, all working together to ensure no animal dies simply because they are homeless.”

Fostering is also a way to open up kennels for more lives to be saved. Pawmetto Lifeline provides food, medical care, and supplies for their fosters. You just provide all the love… without all the expense! Learn more about fostering and complete a foster application at www.pawmettolifeline.org.
