Olympia Mill Village Museum will dedicate its newest outdoor exhibit Saturday, December 3, at noon. The museum is located at 1170 Olympia Avenue.

The “Tools of a Worker’s Life” exhibit contains wooden tool boxes, farm implements, bottles, milk cans, toys, and many other examples of artifacts that have been contributed by Olympia Lintheads over the past few years. These are examples of the early Life in the Mill Village.

This exhibit is dedicated to all our ancestors who ever worked in the mills. The museum is honoring all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who came to Olympia and Granby Mill Villages 100 years ago to work so hard in order to create better lives for their families.

The dedication will be followed by museum tours, refreshments, and conversations with old friends.
