Erin Leigh Limkemann and Russell Callaway Hart were married May 21, 2016, at Chattooga River Resort in Long Creek, South Carolina. The five o’clock ceremony was officiated by Rev. Philip Stringer of Jamestown, North Carolina. Music was provided by Isabel Blue, violinist, Dylan Hooper Coward, guitarist, and Luke Wilson, mandolinist.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Karen Bradtmiller Limkemann of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mr. Pete Limkemann of New Haven, Indiana. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Paul Limkemann of Detroit, Michigan, and the late Mr. Limkemann and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard William Bradtmiller of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in ecology.
Mr. Hart is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Garner Hart of Columbia, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ethredge Hart of Roebuck, South Carolina, and the late Frances Garner Hart, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eugene Callaway of Washington, Georgia. A graduate of Spring Valley High School in Columbia, the bridegroom earned a bachelor of science, cum laude, in biosystems engineering from Clemson University and a master of arts in teaching, mathematics, from the University of South Carolina.
Sarah Reece Levine of New Orleans, Louisiana, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Katherine Callaway Hart of Denver, Colorado, sister of the groom; Hazel Jana Conway of Asheville, North Carolina; and Shannon Ann Shamoon of Santa Cruz, California. The flower girl was Sidney Arin Limkemann of Richmond, Virginia, niece of the bride.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen included the bride’s brother, Eric Scott Limkemann of Richmond, Virginia; Brock Allen Laney and Jordan Shelton Laney of Columbia; and Ryan Gregory Dale and Zachary Davis Stipe of Long Creek, South Carolina.
A reception followed at Chattooga River Resort in Long Creek
The couple is making their home in Long Creek, where they are guides with the Nantahala Outdoor Center at its Chattooga River Outpost. They plan a honeymoon trip in the fall.
