The Columbia Chamber has announced its 2021-2022 board of directors with the addition of 16 new members. Jean Cecil Frick has been elected to serve as chairwoman; John Griggs will serve as chair-elect. New members include Peyton Bryant, Frank Cason, Susan Cohen, John Ewing, Terry Gunn, Nicole Hendricks, Lynn Hutto, Leanna Lee, Macon Lovelace, Kim McMahon, Shayla Merritt, Amruth Reddy, Robert Rhodes, Nicole Scott, Mark Westmoreland, and Brad Wright.
Alvin Taylor, former S.C. Department of Natural Resources director, was honored with a bronze plaque commemorating Taylor’s 42 years of service to the state’s natural resources agency that will be a permanent fixture at the agency’s Columbia headquarters.
