Central Carolina Community Foundation’s 2017-2018 Executive Officers include chair, C. Carroll Heyward; vice chair, Sharon Bryant; and secretary/ treasurer, Stacy S. Stokes. New board members include Tod Ausburger, Scott Macfarland, and Candace Shriver. The foundation thanks retiring trustees for their service— J . Mac Bennett , William Babcock, Ri ta Bragg Caughman, Linda O’Bryan, and Benjamin H. Rex.

Tabitha Epperson has received Pi Beta Phi® Fraternity for Women’s prestigious Young Alumna Achievement Award.

LRADAC (Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission) has been recognized by Working Well for achieving the highest standards of excellence in the areas of Nutrition and Food Environment, Physical Activity, Tobacco-Free Workplace, and Financial Wellbeing.

Sarah Sipes has joined Harvest Hope Food Bank as events manager, and Lori Burney will take on the role of donor relations manager at Harvest Hope’s Greenville branch.

Providence Health has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

The South Carolina Arts Commission Board has awarded Individual Artist Fellowships to four South Carolina artists, including Visual—Linda Fantuzzo, Craft— Elizabeth Keller, Media Production— Jason Gour – dine, and Media Screenwriting— Leasharn Hopkins.

Midlands Technical College President Dr. Ronald L. Rhames has been elected to serve on the Board of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC).

Ridgeway has been recognized as a recipient of the 2017 Municipal Association of South Carolina (MASC) award for the project “The Arts: A Picture Is Worth More Than a Thousand Words.”
