U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Richard A. Williams Jr. graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Williams earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the grandson of Shirley Goodwin and nephew of Robin Rawls of Columbia. The airman is a 2010 graduate of A.C Flora High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2015 from Tusculum College, Greeneville, Tenn.

U.S. Air Force Airman Christopher K. Timmons graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Timmons is the grandson of Delores and Homer Timmons of Columbia.

Travelyan Marcel Walker, MD, has joined Providence Health’s team of general surgeons at Providence Surgical Associates.

Cameron Shepherd and Julian Negron from the Palmetto Chapter Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( JDRF), were chosen by JDRF to join a delegation of children and celebrity advocates in Washington, D.C., this summer at JDRF 2017 Children’s Congress.
