U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Richard A. Williams Jr. graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Williams earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the grandson of Shirley Goodwin and nephew of Robin Rawls of Columbia. The airman is a 2010 graduate of A.C Flora High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2015 from Tusculum College, Greeneville, Tenn.
