Columbia Chamber Uncorked 122nd Annual Gala award honorees
The Columbia Chamber has announced the 2025 award recipients for Uncorked, the 122nd Annual Gala. They include Ambassador of the Year, Sharon Bryant; Young Professional of the Year, Jacob Cook; Joe Taylor Public Servant, City of Forest Acres City Council; Diplomat of the Year, Donna Ladd; Military Advocate of the Year, Major General R. Van McCarty (retired); and Partner of the Year, Hood Construction.
Annie Navarro has been awarded the Zonta Club of Columbia’s 2025- 2026 Women in Business Leadership Award.
Mary Kathryne Wadford has been named executive director for the South Carolina State Museum Foundation.
The Columbia World Affairs Council has announced former executive director of the United Nations World Food Programme and former South Carolina Governor David M. Beasley has been named the 2025 Global Vision Award recipient.
Flock and Rally CEO Merritt McNeely has been named one of South Carolina’s 2025 Most Influential Leaders, and the agency has also been recognized with a 2025 Empowering Women award.
Beau Kaneft, president and CEO of Colonial Packing Inc., of Columbia, has joined the Cooperative Ministry’s board of directors.
