Think you know everything about Columbia? Watch Columbiapedia and find out. Launched June 27, Columbiapedia will explore weekly everything alphabetically about Columbia—past and present.
Each week, a local ambassador will discuss everything about Columbia starting with the letter “A.” Teasers will be featured on the Soda City Certified social media channels each Monday, and Soda City Certified app users may access the full video that same day. The public will have to wait until Saturday to join the fun.
“Columbiapedia was created as a form of nostalgia, historical reference, and an overall fun way to connect Columbia. I thought I knew pretty much everything about my hometown, but this initiative definitely opened my eyes to others’ experiences and definitions of this great place,” said Khali Gallman, creator of the Soda City Certified app. “ We are excited to launch this project on the Soda City Certified app as it takes you down memory lane. Stay tuned…we’re just getting started!”
Join Columbia’s very own Kelly Nash, Curtis Wilson, Kelsey Carmichael, Sam Johnson, Tyler Ryan, Mandie Anderson, Tameika Isaac Devine, Dr. Aaron Bishop, Hamilton Grant, Councilman Derrek Pugh, Ashley Elsey, Ashley Jenkins Wood, Shennice Cleckley, Merrell Johnson, Renaldo ‘DJ Puff’ Wilson, and many more as they discuss people, places, events, and expressions native to Columbia.
