Columbia Music Festival Association presents Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet

production of A Midsummer

Night’s Dream,

Saturday, May 29, 2010, 8 p.m. at the newly renovated Township Auditorium.

This product ion of

A Midsummer Night ’s

Dream, marks the Carolina Ballet’s homecoming as it returns to the newly renovated Township Auditorium in the first community production in the facility prior to its hosting the concer t by the legendary Tony Bennett.

Tickets for A Midsummer

Night ’s Dream, at $20.50, $15.50, and $10.50 for adults and $10.50 for students and are on sale now at the Township Box Office. The Box Office is temporarily located at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Ticket reservations may be made by calling the Township at 576-2350.

Immediately following the performance, the Columbia Music Festival Association and the Carolina Ballet will host the annual Ballet Spring Gala in the Auditorium. This reception with dancing and hors’d’oeuvres has always been one of the highlights of the Colum- bia spring social season, and an awareness activity for the ballet’s fundraising ef for ts. Tickets for the grand gala reception are $125 per person and include a ticket to the performance. Reserved tables for eight guests, together with performance tickets, are available at $1,000 per table.
