The Historic Melrose Art in the Yard will be held Sunday, November 20, noon–4 p.m. spread over several city blocks. The event will be followed by live music featuring local performing artists, Admiral Radio, starting at 4:30 p.m. Information and maps will be available on Facebook and Instagram.

The 2023 Cottontown Art Crawl will be held Saturday, March 11, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and Sunday, March 12, noon–6 p.m., downtown Columbia. The City of Columbia’s Solid Waste Department will modify its schedule for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Solid waste collections normally picked up on Thursdays will be moved to Wednesday, November 23, and pick-up will return to normal Friday, November 25. 803-545-3800.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Columbia’s buildings and offices will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25.

The City of West Columbia City Hall will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, and will resume regular hours Monday, November 28.
