A budget of $1,500 gets 1,050 square feet—typically enough for a two-bedroom or a small three-bedroom apartment. That’s 335 square feet more than the national average of 715 sq. ft.
Melrose Market, a new full-service eatery, is slated to open in the historic Melrose Heights area in early 2026 at 2710 Gervais Street. The space will be a modern take on a classic European café, pairing approachable dining in a refined atmosphere with the warmth of a neighborhood hub.
