Creighton-Elizabeth Radcliffe Boggs and Avinash Yadav were united in marriage on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in San Clemente, California. The double ring ceremony was conducted by Pastor Joshua Kapchinsky in the garden overlooking the Pacific Ocean at San Clemente Shore. The bride’s wedding ring was designed to pair with her heirloom engagement ring, a gift from her mother, which had belonged to her mother’s great aunt, Susie Rodgers Theodore of Columbia, S.C. She wore a long strand of aquamarine stones, created by Sophie Koffler, originally worn by Katie Albert Bolton at her wedding to William Burnside Bolton, cousin of the bride.

Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony as the sun set over the coast. Attendees hailed from India and many states across the U.S. All guests received wedding favors of custom-designed stained-glass hearts created by Cindy Brantley Day of Blythewood, S.C., longtime friend of the bride’s mother.

Because her father’s health issues prevented his attendance at the wedding, the bride was given in marriage by her mother. She carried a charm containing a photograph of her father attached to her bridal bouquet as she processed. Heather Brehm of Pasadena, California, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Dieter of Los Angeles, California; Gale Haselden of Columbia, South Carolina; and Camila Conte of Richmond, Virginia. Best Man was Andrew Viegas of Palm Coast, Florida; and groomsmen were Benjamin McCooey of Los Angeles, California; Mario Mazzone of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Arthur Morgenthaler of Richmond, Virginia. Schuyler Thomas Boggs-Price, of Denver, Iowa, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Bridesmaid Stephanie Dieter, film director and founder of the award-winning production company Tape Haus Cinema, provided videography and editing for the couple as a wedding gift. Los Angeles based pop singer, songwriter, and music producer Chase Bell surprised everyone with a live special performance of his new songs, “Love Habit” and “La La Love,” dedicated to the couple.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. William C. Boggs and Dr. Sallie Hook Boggs of Columbia, S.C. and the granddaughter of the late Dr. Marion Burnside Hook and Peggy Lollis Hook of Columbia and the late Rev. William Troy Boggs and Pauline Adams Boggs of Greenville, S.C. She attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and was an honor graduate of Dreher High School. She received a BA degree, magna cum laude, in political science with leadership distinction from the S.C. Honors College at the University of South Carolina.

The groom is the son of Neelam Yadav of Madras, India. He is a graduate of the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science in Mobile, Alabama, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in political science.

The couple met when the groom gave the bride and her parents a tour of the T.C. Williams School of Law at The University of Richmond. They became friends while studying international law at the University of Cambridge and are both graduates of UR Law.

The bride is an employment attorney in Long Beach, California, and the groom is a legal talent manager. Following a wedding trip to O’ahu, Hawaii, the couple will continue to reside in Southern California.
