The Blythewood Garden Club was recently awarded First Place District Award Number Seven Civic Beautification by The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. West Sandhills District Awards Chairman Becky Farley (l) and Sylvia J. Beall (r), president, accepted the award on behalf of the members. The Garden Club created and maintains a Carolina Fence Garden, an historical tribute to South Carolina gardening. Plantings follow the established guidelines of the Garden Club of South Carolina.The purpose is to enhance the beauty of Blythewood.
