2014-2015 school year begins for Richland One students, new principals



Richland One welcomed back its 23,000 students Monday, August 18, as they began another exciting year dedicated to academic excellence. Students at nine schools were greeted by new principals, including

• Kezia Myers, acting principal, Bradley Elementary School, formerly assistant principal, Brennen Elementary School, Richland One

• Michelle Kennedy, principal, Carver-Lyon Elementary School, formerly Parent University Coordinator, Orangeburg Consolidated School, District Five

• Dr. Teresa Turner, principal, Caughman Road Elementary School, formerly principal, Memminger Elementary School, Charleston County School District

• Monica Owens Carter, principal, Gadsden Elementary School, formerly assistant principal, Caughman Road Elementary School, Richland One

• Andrea Adams, principal, Hyatt Park Elementary School, formerly principal, Sheep-Harney Elementary School, Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools, North Carolina



• Dr. Christine Le- Blanc, principal, Meadowfield Elementary School, formerly administrator on special assignment, Bradley Elementary School, Richland One
