In 2018, the Cardinal Newman Cardinals claimed the SCISA 3A baseball state championship. In 2019, the Hammond Skyhawks beat Cardinal Newman in the semifinals en route to claiming the state championship. The two teams will square off to determine who will win the crown in 2021 beginning Monday, May 10 at Hammond’s Folsom Field beginning at 6 p.m.
