C.A. Johnson students win EngenuitySC Shark Tank Competition



C.A. Johnson High School students William Barnes and Ja’Lisa Bannister won first-place and second-place, respectively, in the M.Y.O.B (Minding Your Own Business) and Shark Tank school competition sponsored by EngenuitySC. As the first-place winner, Barnes received a $240 cash prize for his Moto Dragons comic book idea and the opportunity to meet with the Columbia artist who draws Spider Man for Marvel. Bannister won a $140 cash prize for her bakery business idea called Jalisa’s Sweets. After her presentation, she received five cake orders for the holidays before she left the classroom. C.A.
