Pawmetto Lifeline, a local no-kill animal shelter committed to reducing pet overpopulation in the Midlands, will host the 12th Annual Fur Ball Moonlight Gala at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The Fur Ball features a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and more to raise awareness and donations for companion pets.

Guests are invited to wear their most dazzling formal wear for the black tie event and get ready for a wonderful evening sponsored by Jim Hudson Lexus.

All proceeds of the event will support Pawmetto Lifeline’s No-Kill effort. The event draws approximately 1,000 of South Carolina’s most devoted animal lovers.

Those interested in attending can visit the website to purchase an individual ticket for $175, or if interested in sponsoring the 2018 Fur Ball, view the many options for multiple tickets and sponsorship/ advertisement opportunities at bit.ly/PLFurBall2018

The Fur Ball is one of the largest signature events put on every year by Pawmetto Lifeline. The fun starts at 7 p.m. and guests enjoy drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment by Soul Play, and dancing well into the night.

Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization with a plan to end pet overpopulation in the Midlands through education, legislation, spay/neuter programs, and responsible pet adoptions. Pawmetto Lifeline’s long-term goal is to transform the Midlands into a no-kill community, meaning no healthy adoptable pet is euthanized simply because it is homeless.
