Lexington Two high school musicians earn top performance ratings

Airport’s Varsity Orchestra was awarded the highest Superior rating during the SCMEA Concert

Performance Assessment recently. The rating is described as “reserved for uncommonly exceptional groups that stand out as having performances that are nearly flawless. This is the highest possible rating and honor to receive.”

Brookland-Cayce's Honors Choir also brought home Superior ratings in performance and sight reading during a SCMEA High School Choral Performance Assessment.
