The Blazers improve to a 14-7 overall record and 7- 1 in region play. Javon Anderson led Ridge View with 19 points, and Crosby Harris-James and Walyn Napper finished with 13 points each.

The Cavaliers, 1-16 overall and 0- 8 in the region, were led by Norman Nowell with 13 points and Donovan White with 10 points.

Ridge View started the second quarter with a 12-11 edge before Anderson and Wilson went to work. Anderson had a three, a field goal, and five free throws, and Wilson went 7-of-9 from the charity stripe to give the Blazers a 34-23 lead at intermission.

Ridge View’s Tyler Rice got a three and a lay- up to close out the quarter and set the Blazers up on a 10- 2 run to take control of the game early in the fourth quarter. Harris-James got 10 of his 13 points in the final stanza, and Wilson got three field goals, including two jams.

“ What I am most proud about is our ability to make free throws,” Ridge View head coach Yerrick Stoneman said. “The biggest problem for both teams is no one could get in a tempo.”

Ridge View: Javon Anderson 19, Crosby Harris James 13, Walyn Napper 13, Malcolm Wilson 13, Tyler Rice 5, Brennen Bynum 4, Patrick Jenkins 2, and Joseph McKenny 2.

Richland Northeast: Norman Nowell 13, Donovan White 10, Josh Boyd 8, Jarmel Butler 8, Daniel Montgomery 6, Kamorey Stinson 5, Durand Brown 4, and Miguel Jackson 1.
