Richland One announces 2018-2019 Pre-K registration

Richland One families can begin the registration process for the district’s 2018-2019 prekindergarten programs. To be eligible for prekindergarten registration, children must be four years old on or before September 1, 2018, and parents must reside within the Richland One school district.

To begin the registration process, parents should attend one of the pre-kindergarten parent information meetings. Spanish interpreters will be available at all information meetings.

• February 15— Dreher High School, 3319 Millwood Avenue, 6 p.m.

• February 21—W.G. Sanders Middle School, 3455 Pine Belt Road, noon

• March 8—W.G. Sanders Middle School, 3455 Pine Belt Road, noon

• March 13—Eau Claire High School, 4800 Monticello Road, 6 p.m.

• April 10—St. Andrews Middle School, 1231 Bluefield Road, 6 p.m.

• April 24—W.G. Sanders Middle School, 3455 Pine Belt Road, noon

The next step in the process is for parents to complete and submit the online registration form at www. r ichlandone.org. This form will be available March 1. Parents also should submit copies of the following documents to the Richland One Office of School Readiness and Pre-Kindergarten Programs at 2638 Two Notch Road, Suite 106:

(a) Child’s long form birth certificate

(b) Child’s current DHEC immunization form

(c) Proof of income (both parents’ pay stubs or child’s current Medicaid card)

(d) Current signed lease

(e) Current utility bill

Parents can begin submitting copies of these documents now. After all documents have been received, parents will be able to schedule their child’s screening appointment.
