Cardinal Newman Mock Trial Team earns honors at Middle School Mock Trial competition

The competition is sponsored by the South Carolina Bar.

Out of three mock trial rounds, the team won four of six possible awards from the judges.

Award winners included two Most Effective Lawyers—Marshall Seezen and Mariah Hoover, plus two Most Effective Witnesses—Peter Wilbur and Joseph Romero.

Team members included Charley Aho, Miniyah Campbell, Mariah Hoover, Clementine Jordan, Joseph Romero, Olivia Rowland, Peter Wilbur, and Nikolas Xanthakos.

The team is coached by Scott Nelson.
