Dick Goodwin Big Band holds fundraiser for Lourie Center

O’Neill Verner Individuai Artist Award, will bring his big band to the Lourie Center Sunday, July 23, 3–5 p.m.

The well-known band members include Jim Hall, Dwight Spencer, Doug Graham, Terry Trantham, Charlie Polk, Bruce Clark, Dave Allison, Ashley Fleshman, Ed Craft, John Wilkinson, and Kristi Hood.

The Lourie Center is a non-profit center which offers opportunities for physical fitness, social interaction, and stimulation for adults 50 and over.

The concert will be held at the center, 1650 Park Circle, adjacent to the Maxcy Gregg City Park. Tickets (cash or checks only) will be available at the door. General admission is $10; CIS members— $5, children under 10—free.
