Falcon athletes dominate region strength meet

More than 40 A.C. Flora Falcon athletes and coaches participated in the recent region Speed and Strength Meet at Richland Northeast High School. More than 40 A.C. Flora Falcon athletes and coaches participated in the recent region Speed and Strength Meet at Richland Northeast High School. Eleven A.C. Flora High School athletes brought home the most first place finishes out of 20 total weight classes in the annual region Speed and Strength Meet held at Richland Northeast High School.

A group of 42 Falcons participated in bench press, squat, and standing broad jump competitive categories. The Falcons led the meet with 30 athletes placing first, second, or third in their weight classes.

Claiming first place honors were Darian Addison,

Griffin Carrouth, Daniel Finney, Will Foster, Jamari Gordon, Dewey Greene, Taj Johnson, Dalton Jones, Dorian McFadden, Malkevious Pearson, and Neal Weaver.

Ezekial Green set a personal best by lifting 300 lbs on the bench press.

Seventeen of Flora’s medalists will compete at the state level meet March 25 at White Knoll High School.
