PUBLIC NOTICE SCANA Communications, Inc. proposes the construction of a 190-ft AGL monopole (199-ft overall with appurtenances) communications tower located east of a portion of 12th Street Extension, south of Interstate 77, in Cayce, SC (Lexington County Parcel #

006900-01-017). The proposed communications tower will be located at latitude: N 33º 55’ 36.065”, longitude: W 81º 02’ 10.105” (NAD 83) and is anticipated to be an unlit structure. The proposed communications tower can be identified by FCC Form 854 File Number A0975006. Interested persons were requested, via public notice on July 17, 2015, to review the application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the FCC Form 854 File Number A0975006. Interested persons were also requested to raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the Federal Communications Commission. The application was placed on Environmental Notice on the FCC’s website, at www.fcc.gov/asr/nationreport on July 17,2015. No comments or petitions to deny construction of the proposed tower pursuant to Sections 1.939 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 1.939 were received during the prior public notice comment period. Therefore, pursuant to Section 1.1308 (d) of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 1.1308 (d) the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau completed an independent review of the environmental assessment and supporting documents. The Bureau found that the proposed tower will not have a significant impact on the human environment and granted a Finding of No Significant Impact. Pursuant to Section 1.1308 (d) of the Commission’s rules SCANA Communications, Inc. is notifying the community of the Finding of No Significant Impact.
