The Richland County Neighborhood Improvement Program ( NIP) is launching a new business incentive to improve buildings and property along Decker Boulevard. The Commercial Façade Im-provement Grant Program is designed to help local business and commercial property owners make improvements to their building storefronts.

The program will provide up to $10,000 in grant funds to finance exterior renovations and repairs. Eligible business projects include improvements to doors, awnings, signs, and windows.

Decker Boulevard is the pilot area for the new building improvement grant program; however the program plans to be applied to other target areas throughout Richland County. Grant Applications are now available! For more information about this new grant program call the NIP office at 576-1340.
