Miss Micek and Mr. Lyles marry August 20, 2011, in Denver
Mr. and Mrs John Dunbar Lyles were married August 20, 2011, at St. John Francis Regis Chapel on the campus of Regis University in Denver, Colorado. The Rev. Monsigner Kenneth Leone presided at the 3:30 ceremony. A seated dinner at Mount Vernon Country Club in Golden, Colorado, followed the service.
Mrs. Lyles is the former Katie Colleen Micek of Littleton, Colorado. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terrance Dean Micek of Littleton, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Medard James Connelly of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Mrs. Adrian Eli Micek of Lincoln, Nebraska, and the late Mr. Micek.
Mr. Lyles is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Rupert Eugene Kuhne Jr. of Columbia and Mr. James Morris Lyles III of Ridgeway, South Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart Dunbar Jr. of Columbia, Mr. James Morris Lyles Jr. of Winnsboro, South Carolina, and the late Mrs. Lyles.
Allison Micek Lammers of Lafayette, Colorado, served as her sister’s matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mollie Bardelas Lyles of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Sarah Robinson Lyles of Columbia, sisters-in-law of the bridegroom, and Jennifer Mason Micek of Columbia, Missouri, sisterin law of the bride. The flower girls were Elyce Dunbar Lyles, Katherine Kennedy Lyles, Madelyne June Micek, Laura Rose Micek, Abigail Helene Micek, and Isabelle Louise Lammers, all nieces of the bride and bridegroom.
James Morris Lyles IV of Columbia and Robert Harley Lyles of Greensboro, North Carolina, brothers of the bridegroom, served as best men. The groomsmen were Timothy Patrick Micek of Denver and Benjamin Terrance Micek of Columbia, Missouri, brothers of the bride, and Todd Michael Lammers of Lafayette, Colorado, brother in-law of the bride.
The ushers were Robert Holt Bunch Jr., George Walton Jameson, Brian Graham Oesch of Asheville, North Carolina, and Joseph Raymond of Portsmouth, Virginia.
After a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple made their home in Denver.
