Children’s Chance benefits from Inaugural Ladies Night Out event
Children’s Chance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the non-medical needs of South Carolina children with cancer and their families including financial, emotional, and psychological assistance. Proceeds from the Ladies Night Out event sponsored by Palmetto Thrift Store will fund a variety of programs to assist these families during their child’s cancer diagnosis, treatment, and either recovery or end of life.
Programs provided by Children’s Chance to South Carolina kids with cancer and their families include the Family Support Program, which helps families to pay mortgage or rent as well as utility bills; the Angel Funds Program, which provides families with gas, food and grocery cards; The Children’s Chance Counseling Program, which funds counseling sessions for all members of the family; the Annual School Supply Bash, which provides free school supplies to the child with cancer and their siblings; and the Annual Evening with the Gamecocks event for families to spend a special night with the University of South Carolina Football Team and Coaches.
