Travel back in time


The S.C. Railroad Museum has an old-fashioned steam engine pulling the weekend train rides during the month of October. Pictured in the foreground are Nicholas Wright of Blythewood and Abbi Platt of West Columbia. Both enjoyed a train ride October 16. The ride is a four-mile trek through Fairfield County. The ride was a special treat for Nicholas who is studying how a steam engine works for a school report.
