Animal Protection League (APL) of SC lost one of its most loyal supporters recently with the death of Elaine Gressette Parker on March 21. In 1982 she and several other animal lovers founded what has become the Midlands oldest no– kill animal shelter. She worked tirelessly for many years to promote and support APL.
