On Tuesday, March 22, the Brookland–Cayce Lady Bearcats defeated the Dreher Lady Blue Devils 3–2. “It’s a great win for us because it’s a region win. The first half was a little sluggish for us, but the girls picked it up in the second half,” Brookland– Cayce head coach Katie Smith said. It was Dreher that struck first. After numerous shot attempts missed wide, Cecilia Deprit–Bixo put Dreher on the board with a goal.
