The Salvation Army in Columbia serves people in Richland, Fairfield, Newberry, and Lexington counties by providing assistance to families experiencing poverty or financial distress. Families are provided Christmas gifts prior to Christmas. This program is one way that The Salvation Army shares the love and care of Jesus Christ whose birth we celebrate during the Christmas season.
