Alex at the Beach by Rachel Parker To help raise money for a good cause, Rachel Parker, along with 19 other artists, will sell her art at the Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser “SC’s Art with a Heart Show.”

The show will feature tremendous artwork as well as dessert, drinks, and live entertainment. 701 Whaley will host this annual benefit art show August 26 at 5:30 p.m.

A portion of all proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia’s cornerstone programs, the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room.

Rachel Parker is a self taught artist who works mainly in watercolors. As the daughter of artist Gretchen Parker, she was raised going to art lessons and watching her mother paint. She has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil, and began painting in 2000.
