S.C. Wildlife Federation gets wild this summer
The South Carolina Wildlife Federation (SCWF) is counting down the days until their annual WILD Summer’s Nite Auction and Wild Game Feast and hopes people from all over the state will join the untamed entertainment on August 28, 2010.
Held at the Medallion Center off of Garner’s Ferry Road, the WILD Summer’s Nite Auction, & Wild Game Feast, begins at 6 p.m. when doors open for food, spirits, socializing, games and more. A silent auction kicks off the evening at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction beginning at 8 p.m.
Guests will enjoy a unique feast of wild game including venison, quail, catfish, and duck as well as chicken and vegetarian dishes. Thanks to generous donors, admission to the Wild Summer’s Nite Auction & Wild Game Feast includes all–you–can–eat food catered by Tronco’s. Sweets and spirits will also be included with an open bar. This social event permits guests the opportunity to mingle with friends and fellow conservationists.
The silent and live auctions will be some of the main highlights of the evening with a wide variety of items to bid on. There are original works of art, hunting and fishing excursions, guided river and kayak tours, golfing packages, chartered boat trips, many items for the ladies, and much more! There are literally hundreds of items to choose from— something for everyone.
Only 150 benefactor tickets are sold each year with excellent odds of walking out the door with the grand prize of $3,000! Ten Benefactor stubs will be drawn at the event for prize packages valued at $160 or higher. The 11th ticket will be the grand prize winner. Benefactor tickets are available for $160 each and include a complimentary guest ticket. However, guest tickets are available for general admission at $60 each.
