hBa Charitable Foundations builds home for denny Family
Brian and his wife Jessica and their two children, Kendall and Cooper
The Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia through the generosity of its members will build a home for the Denny Family. Brian Denny suffered a serious injury at work on March 15, 2010. Denny, an employee of Stock Building Supply in Columbia, had a C3/C4 injury. He currently is paralyzed from his shoulders down. Brian and his wife, Jessica, have two children, Kendall, 7 years old, and Cooper, 5 years old.
The totally accessible home will be built in Fisher’s Woods in Northeast Columbia on a lot donated by C & C Builders of Columbia, Inc. and will be known as Lagniappe (pronounced LAN-yap) meaning “a little something extra” or “an extra or unexpected gift.”
“We feel the Lord has definitely given us a ’lil lagniappe by blessing us with this house; it’s more than we ever dreamed, and we’re so thankful!”
