Emily Marshall Collins and Creston William Brown Dr. and Mrs. Hampton Wade Collins III of Columbia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Marshall Collins, to Mr. Creston William Brown.

The bride–elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Melba Reid Seals and the late Mr. William Henry Seals of Marion, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Wade Collins Jr. of Mullins, South Carolina. A graduate of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, the bride–elect received a bachelor of arts degree in finance from Wofford College. She is currently attending the University of South Carolina Law School.

The bride-groom–elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arthur Brown Jr. of Columbia, Mrs. Virginia Duncan Broadway of Columbia, and the late Mr. Noah Graham Broadway III of Columbia. The bridegroom– elect is a graduate of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and the University of Notre Dame witha bachelor of arts degree in accounting. He is employed by Colite International of Columbia.

The wedding is planned for October 16, 2010, at Shandon United Methodist Church.
