Students at Fortis College in Columbia prepare for an “A–peeling” career in the healthcare profession by using oranges and apples to practice their injection technique. Per forming injections for the first time are Chelsey Godwin (above, left) and Latoya Canzater, while (at right) instructor Karen Arbuckle demonstrates proper procedure for administering injections to Ashlee Long (left) and Wanda Green. The hands–on exercise is one element of the practical applications learned by students being trained for a variety of healthcare and medical professions at Fortis College.
